Ziegler Rugs: Ziegler rugs are clearly among the most beautiful and popular oriental rugs. Besides the classic Ziegler Farahan rug, there are countless new creations in individual and unique colors and patterns. The flat and firm pile makes the Ziegler rug perfect for a modern interior, complementing it with a special and homely touch. Due to the firm pile, the rug is insensitive to the stresses of everyday life. The desgin of Ziegler rugs was once designed by a Swiss entrepreneur and has survived to this day. Originally, these rugs were knotted in Persia.
Afghan Rugs: Carpets and kilims have a long tradition in Afghanistan. In contrast to Persian carpets, Afghan carpets usually have geometric patterns and calmer colours. The knotting of the carpets is firm and flat-pile.
