Hamedan Rugs: The Hamadan carpet is knotted in the region around the city of the same name. Some of the Persian carpets knotted in the villages and towns surrounding the city differ greatly in colour and pattern. Nevertheless, the well-known Herati pattern and classic colours such as blue and red predominate. In addition, geometric patterns are particularly common in the weavings.
